**伊魯森林(Illubabor Forest)此品種被發現於西元1974年由至Illubabor Forest的一次考察中由研究員在探險期間收集的野生品種，衣索比亞吉馬研究中心（Jimma Argicultural）官方釋出，研究中心釋出此品種原因有1.抗病性佳 2.優質的杯測品質 3.良好的產量。GV團隊選擇種植起源於伊魯高地咖啡林的品種除了因為抗病性之外和產量之外能降低當時的栽種風險之外，此品種的杯測風味潛力才是當時的主要因素。
